On Wednesday 12th October our PMNW team carried out a Crime and Safety Awareness Day to the year 10 students at Allerton High School. Although the weather was miserable our team had a really successful day with some great and really enthusiastic pupils. The day was jam-packed and included a range of different sessions including Prison life, Life sentence, County Lines, Choices, One Punch, Knife Crime and we were also kindly joined by Chrissie Noble from Northern Power who put on a really important session. The year 10’s where engaged and focused and asked many great questions. The students got to see a ‘replica’ prison cell to get an idea of how miserable prison may be. Feedback from students and teacher that we received was really positive. We would like to say a huge Thank You to all of the students and also a big Thank You to the staff for looking after us and we will look forward to going back in the near future.
