Beat the heat!

On Wednesday the 26th of July (during the summer term) a handful of the PMNW team attended an Event in Hull exclusively for Teenagers! We took along with us our Prison Cell Van so if young people wanted to - they could come and have a look around and a little chat to us about any questions or queries they may have about what they have seen, or things they may have heard about prison. Some even chose to get locked in for a few minutes!! The event was absolutely buzzing! Lots of different activities for young people to participate in. Local bands rocked the stage from start to finish, inflatable photo booth, a large canvas and spray paints provided so you could un leash you’re inner Banksy if you wished (legally of course). An ice cream van - Neil even treated the YAG team to an ice-cream for all of our hard work we put in that day (thanks Neil). Free fruit skewers were handed out by Heathy Holidays Hull the whole time- my absolute favourite. A silent disco!!! And many many more. The vibe was ace and it was a pleasure for PMNW team to attended this event. The Cell Van was a hit all day, we even had people queuing just for a glimpse! We really enjoyed meeting different young people, from Primary School age to Secondary School age. We still had some challenging and brilliant questions thrown at us and it was a pleasure to see and meet the Lord Mayor too who was also there! We cant wait to see you all really soon.
