Nottingham Girls School 25/02/22
On Friday 25th of February, our team took a trip to Nottingham Girls School to deliver one of our Crime and Safety Awareness Days. The girls were entirely engaged throughout the day and asked lots of very thought-provoking questions, showing genuine interest in both the topics and the workshops. They consistently got involved in all sessions which made each one a joy to teach! The workshops that were performed on this day included ‘Choices and Consequences’, Prison Life, CEOP, Domestic Abuse and County Lines. The PMNW staff were also very kindly joined by Jack Hibbert and Craig Langton from the Fire Safety team who delivered a number of fantastic workshops throughout the day, containing life-saving advice and information. Although the students clearly took a lot away from the day, the overarching lesson learnt from the girls was that life is all about choices! I think it’s safe to say they will definitely be thinking twice about the actions and decisions they make in the future. We would like to say a big thank you to Nottingham Girls School for taking care of our team during our visit and we hope to see you again soon.
